Harvey Culverhouse
My clinical philosophy centres around caring for the individual as a whole, not just the pain they come in with. Having experienced back pain and other injuries myself, I have direct understanding of the impact that pain can have on daily life. This personal understanding fuels my commitment to creating meaningful, positive changes in my patients’ lives. I believe that effective healthcare involves a genuine human connection, built on attentive listening and a thorough understanding of each patient’s unique situation. Providing quality, high-value care based on a clear understanding of your preferences and needs is my priority.
My focus is on helping people of all ages move beyond pain to regain thoughtless and fearless movement, enabling them to confidently reengage with the activities that are important to them. In practice, I use a combination of techniques including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and manipulation, exercise rehabilitation, and providing practical advice and guidance on how you can confidently manage your pain autonomously. I tailor every treatment plan to the individual’s specific goals and preferences, always informed by the most up-to-date research in musculoskeletal healthcare.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy an active lifestyle. Amongst other sports, I played rugby for many years at local teams like Helsby, Chester, and Cheshire, as well as for my university team. Since graduating from the University of South Wales, I’ve focused my exercise primarily on weight training and hiking.
I am fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council. My registration number is 06152.
